How To Add Eyelashes

Your eyelashes are your eyes best friend. They do not only add up to the beauty and glamour of your eyes, but they also help protect your eyes from pollutants such as dust particles. These two are the main reasons why we also need to take care of our eyelashes. But for some, eyelashes are not just for purposes of beauty and physiology. They also make use of eyelashes in purposes of fashion. It is a general idea that the longer your eyelashes are, the more beautiful your eyes are. However, not everyone was born with long eyelashes. There are also cases where your eyelashes have either fallen off or have been pulled out due to cosmetics. But this does not have to be a problem because you can simply add eyelashes.

Here are some tips on how to add eyelashes

  • First of all, you need to have a set of false eyelashes to add onto your eyelids. You can purchase false eyelashes from your nearest cosmetic shop, or you can also make your own false eyelashes with a piece of black thin paper. Just make sure that you measure the length of eyelash width that you wish to add before putting them on.
  • If you purchase false eyelashes, the set comes with a small tube of adhesive. Don’t worry since this adhesive was purposely made in order for your eyelashes to be sturdily attached. It will not cause any irritation.
  • If you will just make your own eyelashes, you can make use of mascara as your adhesive.
  • Before adding eyelashes, make sure to brush your eyelashes first with a wisp of mascara. The sticky texture and black color of mascara will help make the adding of eyelashes more natural.
  • Make sure to use a pair of tweezers when adding eyelashes. This will help you to do it more accurately.
  • Have adequate lighting and a clear mirror to aid you with this.

Piece of advice

Keep in mind that adding eyelashes is not just about the act of adding but also about aftercare. Make sure to clean any traces of adhesive used in order to help the pores of your eyelids breathe. Avoid too much cosmetic use on your eyelids since this will affect your eyelids, making them fall off.
